It is that brief time of year where the colors seem just right in Traverse City. If you're not coming this weekend, you'll miss the best of it. But there is always next year. If you are going to be here, then a walk at Hickory Meadows provides beautiful views of the surrounding hills as you enjoy an easy walk through the fields. Were I to pan right, the snowless ski hills would be in sight. Their time is coming, but not yet.
