The Tasting Room on Garland and Union is no more. Long live Cellar & Flame! Because that is what the new place will be called. The sign for The Tasting Room is gone:
But as of when I took this photo, the name is still on the door. I will just have to imagine the tasteful signage and decorations of the place where the servers wanted us to upcharge our every course.

I didn't often eat there. We all have our favorite upscale restaurants we go to for those special occasions. Mine is usually Trattoria Stella's, Amical or Poppycock's. The Tasting Room usually slipped my mind, and I don't know why. But in any case, it's being replaced with something new, so best wishes to them on their reboot.
