It's back!

Yes, Apple Cat has returned. The sculpture sits next to the Leelanau Trail during the warmer months before it's replacement in the fall with ski sculpture. Apple Cat is my own name for it, and it's a good one you must admit. I mean, it's a cat on an apple. What else would you call it?
Apple Cat's return is the sign that spring has arrived. Spring in northern Michigan is sometimes a bit late and usually a brief interlude between winter #3 and summer, but it's a welcome time when the peepers peep and the flower bloom and I'm on my Specialized Roubaix again.
If you want your own Apple Cat encounter, it is located just north of the DeYoung parking area off of Cherry Bend Road.
