Boon Street Park

I'll answer your first question (where is Boon Street): It runs between Woodmere and Garfield, its east end by Serra Toyota. If you don't live in Traverse City, you have never been down that street before. Nor is there any reason to. It's a neighborhood, and so Boon Street Park is a neighborhood park. For your enjoyment, I have included a crappy image from Google Streetview because I have no idea where the picture I took went, and I don't feel like going over there again to take another:

If you take a close look at the park, you will see a basketball court. That is the only amenity in the park, so if you're a TC baller, perhaps this is a spot for you. Otherwise, it's a fresh break of green space between the houses.

The name Boon could be an abbreviated version of the English name Boone. It could also be derived from the Dutch word meaning "bean", suggesting a bean grower.

Sorry, that's all I got. There aren't any sidewalks on Boon Streets so it's not the greatest place to walk, and there isn't much to see anyways. I promise I'll do better on the next post.
