We have reached Post #2 in my Parks of Traverse City, an epic (in my own mind) series of posts about the parks inside Traverse City. We have reached Arbutus Court Park, a bit of greenspace on Boon Street and a place you are almost guaranteed to never have visited. Feast your eyes about the beauty of the southside park.

And that's a wrap. Yes, the entire park fits in this picture. The website describes it as a "pocket park", and that seems an appropriate place. Hey, it's better than a pot shop! And if you are looking to shoot the basketball, it seems like a nice place to do it. That is Serra Toyota in the background - I knew you were wondering.
Hmm, how to keep this going... "arbutus" is a genus that refers to two types of plants, the arbutus tree and the trailing arbutus, both in the heath family. And Arbutus Lake is a 395-acre lake southeastern of town.
I've now exhausted everything I know about the park and my interest in things named "arbutus".
