If you haven't been to Traverse City lately (perhaps Memorial Day weekend is your planned trip), this is what you'll see if you're headed west onto M-72 or M-22.
Be prepared to wait. M-72 / Grandview Parkway east of Division is a mess. As you can see, there are only two lanes open, the normally westbound lanes being closed. And West End Beach is completely closed this summer as the parking lot that was damaged many years ago during high waters.
